Corporate security is essential when u need a physical presence at your business. Uniformed security guards provide a visual presence and can be onsite 24hrs a day to support your access to the building.

Our officers are highly trained and courteous to all visitors and staff making this an asset to your company.

Whilst having most buildings will have a reception which is manned it’s no substitute to having a licences officer on site that can cover a multitude of roles.

Typically, corporate duties may include the following:

Covering reception to assist full time reception staff
Controlling access barriers to buildings
Being a face to meet and greet as visitors/staff enter your building

These are just a few examples of how a corporate security officer can assist you and your business to ensure a professional and courteous experience for all visitors and staff.

These tasks are all carried out to ensure your building is safe and secure, officers will undergo regular patrols and give feedback to the line manager ensuring the health and safety of the staff and building.

For every client we produce a site specification standard operating procedure which assists our officers to understand the challenges and roles expected at every site. This include all health and safety assessments specific to the site. These ensures our standards and requirements for the clients are met and adhere to.

We make sure that all off our officer are carefully screened in accordance with BS7858:2019 – Screening of individuals working within a secure environment defined as anywhere that an insider could steal or threaten the integrity of data, information, or other physical or intellectual assets; or threaten people’s safety.

Manned Guarding

Whilst Manned Guarding can be very similar to Corporate Officers this area of security is mainly used to cover the following:

Gate house Security
Building/Construction Sites
Vacant Properties

The above sites are high targets for criminals who may look to steel machinery, tools or to vandalise properties that are closed or in produces of being built.

Our guards rigorous access control and ensure no in authorised visitors or workers enter the site. They also assist to give health and safety briefings to visitors depending on the health and safety controls put in place of the specific site and ensure compliance on PPE. ie CDM regulations etc.

With access to 2-man security cabins Kingswood Security can deploy these to sites that require a guard to cover the main gate and control access. This has many uses as temporary CCTV system may be required to be put up around the site and this can be fed back to the cabin for the security to monitor, this is a great way to have full coverage of the site no matter the size.

Many of our guards have extensive training and are certified Banksman & first aiders this assists our client in meeting the requirements set out by the HSE.

Our guards will complete random patrols of the site to ensure building are safe and secure. Where a guard maybe a lone Worker we have emergency panics buttons and mobiles in place to ensure our guards health and safety.
